SASA Conference 2025: Call for Submissions

South Asia and South Asians: Interactions Within and Beyond the Region 

2025 South Asian Studies Association Conference, 28th February—2nd March 2025

at Loyola Marymount University and online via Zoom.

Throughout most of recorded history, South Asia has influenced and been influenced by the flow of people, trade, ideas, and cultures. We invite paper and panel proposals that speak to these two-way influences.  

We are especially interested in interdisciplinary panels engaging in multi-cultural dialogue. Consider submitting your panel and individual proposals to present during the annual SASA conference, which will convene 28th February—2nd March 2025, accessible virtually via Zoom and in person at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California.
